Melbourne, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, and Barossa Valley

  • Begin in the lively city of Melbourne with a private city tour and free time to enjoy its fashionable neighborhoods, wonderful museums, and beautiful gardens.

  • Continue to Adelaide, an elegant city known for its fine food, parks, antique shops, and heritage architecture.

  • Take an excursion to Kangaroo Island for a full-day 4WD tour with a naturalist guide.

  • View spectacular rock formations, beautiful beaches, and, best of all, the island's abundant native wildlife: kangaroos, koalas, echidnas, fairy penguins, and platypus.

  • Explore the Barossa Valley — perhaps Australia's premier wine region.

  • During your 'insiders' tour, visit small wineries and sample superb cheeses and other regional specialties.

  • Stroll through local towns known for their small shops specializing in crafts made by the locals.
The Kimberley and Daintree Rainforest
  • Continue to El Questro Homestead, an exclusive Outback retreat cantilevered over the magnificent Chamberlain River.

  • Partake in an endless array of optional activities: sport fishing, boating the Chamberlain Gorge to swim in its waterholes and viewing ancient Wandjina rock art.

  • Soak in nearby thermal pools, birdwatch, or take a scenic helicopter flight over the Bungle Bungle Range through canyons and gorges, past waterfalls and caves.

  • Relax and enjoy the Homestead's tropical gardens, spa, tennis, and pool surrounded by boab trees and spinifex grass.
Great Barrier Reef and Sydney
  • Continue to Tropical North Queensland for several days at Silky Oaks Lodge, indulging in spa treatments and rainforest walks.

  • Spend several days at Lizard Island — the most luxurious resort in the Great Barrier Reef.

  • Spend days as you please: snorkeling, diving, kayaking, and swimming.

  • Walk through inland jungle trails, pamper yourself with spa treatments, and dine on superb cuisine.

  • Conclude your tour in Sydney, with privately-guided touring of the city's main attractions: the historic Rocks district, the Sydney Opera House, the Royal Botanic Gardens, the yacht harbors and exclusive homes in Double Bay and Vaucluse, and Bondi Beach.

  • Visit galleries, antique shops, and food and craft markets in Woollahra and Paddington.
