This exclusive tour is perfect for those who enjoy a more active vacation, yet still want a full luxury experience.

Begin in Sydney. During comprehensive private city touring, enjoy food and craft markets, galleries, museums, unique shops, and fine restaurants in Sydney’s vibrant neighborhoods such as Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Paddington. Walk through the beautiful Sydney Botanic Gardens, explore the historic Rocks district, stroll along Bondi Beach, and drive past exclusive homes and yacht clubs in Double Bay and Vaucluse. Also enjoy a performance at the iconic Sydney Opera House and a private yacht ride on the Sydney Harbour. One day, take a surfing lesson, enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Taronga Zoo, or embark on an exhilarating climb to the top of the magnificent Sydney Bridge.

Next, fly to the island of Tasmania, one of Australia’s best kept secrets. This unique region of the world offers dramatic mountain peaks, waterfalls, abundant native wildlife, fields of lavender and small Victorian towns. Tasmania is also becoming increasingly known for their production of wines, cheeses, honey and other culinary specialties. Spend three nights at Tasmania’s most luxurious lodge, situated within the beautiful Freycinet National Park. Enjoy a variety of lodge-based activities that include day hikes and nature walks, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, nocturnal wildlife-spotting, star-gazing, a visit to an oyster and mussel farm, and cooking lessons. During free time, indulge in spa treatments at the spa or relax and take in the stunning landscapes surrounding the lodge. Additional touring, such as private helicopter excursions, picnics on a private beach, and private wine tasting tours, can be arranged upon request.

Continue to the lively city of Melbourne. Enjoy flexible private touring of the city’s highlights, including the chic South Yarra neighborhood, the Victorian Arts Centre, famed sporting precincts such as the Melbourne Cricket Club, historic Cooks Cottage in the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens, Federation Square and the Queen Victoria Markets—packed with exotic foods, clothing and crafts. Alternatively, enjoy a day of wine tastings in the nearby Yarra Valley or opt for a full-day private excursion along the Great Ocean Road.

From there, travel to Ayers Rock (Uluru), surrounded by vast blue sky and red earth in Australia’s beautiful Red Centre. Stay at a luxury tented camp property, and enjoy comprehensive touring with your own private guide. Walk the base of Ayers Rock and view Aboriginal rock art in caves and waterholes (billabongs). Hike through the Olgas (Kata Tjuta) and take desert walks to learn about the unique flora and fauna in the Outback. One night, dine under the stars while an astronomer points out the southern constellations in the clear desert night sky. Upon request, opt for additional touring, such as a privately guided hiking excursion to Mt. Connor, one of the area’s most sacred monoliths, or an exclusive private helicopter tour to a remote Outback location that is home to some of Australia's most spectacular ancient rock art.

Next, fly to Australia’s Northern Territory (Top End) for three nights at a luxury bush camp in Kakadu National Park, a rugged region in the remote northern reaches of the Australian continent. Enjoy daily activities in the bush with expert local naturalists and see a variety of wildlife amid the dramatic landscapes of Kakadu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Activity options include airboat tours through scenic floodplain wetlands, wildlife touring, river cruises, 4WD safaris, and fishing and bird watching. Upon request, additional touring in the region can be arranged, including private charter excursions to spectacular rock art sites in nearby Arnhem Land to learn about Aboriginal culture and traditional crafts.

Stop for an overnight in Darwin before continuing on to one of our favorite luxury resorts in or near the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy time for island activities and excursions such as snorkeling, scuba diving, glass bottom boat rides, kayaking, sailing, island ecology walks, birdlife walks, attending wildlife presentations, beach picnics, tennis, scenic helicopter flights, spa treatments, swimming and more.

Finally, return to Sydney for an overnight stay before your private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
