This private luxury tour of Israel encompasses the best that Israel has to offer, including an in-depth exploration of holy sites, spectacular natural beauty, fascinating historical ruins and exciting, vibrant food and culture. Each night, stay at the very best luxury hotels and resorts in Israel.

Begin in Jerusalem. Built entirely from white stone, Jerusalem glows and changes from white to pink to rose to gold with the changing of the light. Your expert private guide will bring the beautiful city and its incredible, multi-layered history alive. Of immeasurable religious, historic and archaeological importance, the entire Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Western Wall, the Temple Mount, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Via Dolorosa. Explore the narrow streets, twisting alleyways and airy plazas, ancient synagogues and churches, and bazaars and boutiques of the Old City’s Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Armenian quarters. Visit Jerusalem’s most important museums, such as the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and Museum and the Israel Museum, smaller galleries and museums such as the historic Ticho House, the Burnt House and the galleries of the famed Bezalel School of Art and Design, and the magnificent Chagall Windows at Hadassah Hospital. Tour the Mount of Olives and walk along the Old City ramparts or the Haas Promenade, with its iconic view over the city. Stroll through the lively Mahane Yehuda Market, which is a great place to sample local culinary specialties such as pomegranate juice, falafel, chocolate rugelach, almond pastries and halvah, and locally grown olives and figs.

If desired, we can arrange special interest activities around Jerusalem, such as a private market tour and cooking class with a renowned food expert, a tour of the ancient City of David or the excavation tunnels under the Western Wall, a meeting with a geo-political expert, an archaeological dig, a walk through the city’s ancient underground water tunnels, specialized shopping or a visit to Ein Kerem village to experience its local food, wine, art and religious sites. Perhaps opt for an expert-led excursion to Bethlehem or Jericho or hiking in the Judean Hills.

Next, enjoy a private excursion to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. En route, visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, and Masada, a UNESCO-listed 2000-year-old mountaintop fortress, or choose to hike in the lush Ein Gedi oasis. Visit a beach on the Dead Sea and, if desired, relax in the salt and mineral-laden water, famous for its buoyancy and therapeutic qualities.

Spend two nights at Israel’s newest luxury resort at Mizpe Ramon, in the heart of the arid beauty of the Negev Desert. Enjoy hiking or rappelling at the impressive Ramon Crater, see rock art at Mount Karkom, take a camel ride or desert jeep excursion or visit a boutique winery. You may also choose to take an excursion to the ancient Nabbatean city of Avdat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the storied Spice Route. Special-interest activities include visiting David Ben-Gurion’s home on Kibbutz Sde Boker, visiting the Air Force Museum near Beer-Sheba or taking an ecology tour in the Arava Valley.

Spend the next three nights in the Galilee region at a luxury spa resort in Rosh Pina. En route, you may wish to tour the ancient cities of Beit Shean, Caesarea or the UNESCO-listed Acre. Enjoy private touring around the Sea of Galilee (also known as Lake Tiberias and Lake Kinneret), an area renowned for its beautiful landscapes and proximity to important historical and biblical sites. Browse art galleries in Rosh Pina, sample wines at local vineyards, visit Nazareth, Capernaum or a kibbutz, or tour the mystical town of Safed (Tfzat), one of the four holy cities of the Talmud and the birthplace of Kabbalah. Alternatively, enjoy active pursuits such as a four-wheel drive excursion in the Golan Heights, a fertile region of springs, waterfalls and Crusader ruins.

Conclude your tour in Tel Aviv, a vibrant city on the Mediterranean Sea coast. During private touring, experience the best of Israel’s largest city: the Neve Tzedek neighborhood, UNESCO-listed Bauhaus architecture, Old Jaffa and the Carmel Market. Visit museums such as the Eretz Israel Museum, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Museum of the Jewish Diaspora, and explore the city’s burgeoning contemporary gallery scene. If desired, we can also arrange a tour of the fascinating Ayalon Institute, a kibbutz that hid a secret underground ammunition factory. Additional options in Tel Aviv include specialized shopping, visiting the Design Museum Holon, strolling the port district or fashionable HaTachana, spending time on the beach and enjoying the city’s excellent restaurants.
