Artisans of Leisure travel specialist Leah Reilley recently returned from a dream trip to South Africa, Rwanda and Zanzibar.

In South Africa, she experienced the best of Cape Town (including food and wine touring, seeing wildlife and nature, shopping, and exploring the local culture and history), and enjoyed a luxury safari in Kruger National Park while staying at Singita Lebombo Lodge.

In Rwanda, Leah journeyed to Volcanoes National Park to fulfill her dream of seeing gorillas in the wild.

We hope you enjoy this slideshow of images from her visit to South Africa and Rwanda and this blog on her visit to Zanzibar.

What’s Hot Now: China

China continues to be one of our most popular destinations. Our travelers love our guides, sophisticated touring and immersive cultural activities, as well as the beautiful hotels and insider access we arrange throughout the country.

Our private China tours visit classic destinations such as Beijing, the Great Wall, Xian (Terracotta Warriors), Shanghai and Hong Kong. Farther afield, we also offer tours that include a panda sanctuary in Chengdu; touring ancient towns in Yunnan; cultural touring in Lhasa, Tibet; visiting tea plantations in Hangzhou and terraced rice fields in Longsheng; and hiking among the stunning scenery and seeing the UNESCO-listed ancient towns around Huangshan.

Our China tours feature the country’s best luxury hotels and resorts, including the recently opened Rosewood Beijing and Amandayan in Lijiang.

Here are a few of our favorite China itineraries:

Artisans of Leisure travel specialist Luke Pyenson recently returned from a cultural and culinary tour of Sicily, where he took the beautiful photos in this slideshow.

Luke saw magnificent ruins in the Valley of the Temples, took a four-wheel drive nature tour on Mount Etna (above), saw churches and palaces covered in colorful mosaics and tiles, and enjoyed in-depth food and wine touring in each destination.

There’s still time to plan a private Sicily tour for this summer or autumn. View our recommended Sicily tours or contact one of our Sicily travel specialists for more information.
