During private touring, visit Ise Jingu Shrine, Japan’s most important Shinto shrine and a major pilgrimage site inside a sacred forest. Also see other local highlights such as the famous “wedded rocks” and Mikimoto Pearl Island, where cultured pearls were first developed.
