This tour features our favorite highlights of Israel and Jordan and includes personalized, private sightseeing and the top luxury hotels in both countries.

Upon arrival, enjoy VIP airport assistance before being transferred to Jerusalem, where your expert private guide will bring the city and its incredible, multi-layered history to life. One of the world's most historic cities—the entire Old City is a UNESCO World Heritage Site—Jerusalem is a fascinating mix of cultures and religions. Visit different neighborhoods according to your interests, such as the Jewish Quarter, Christian Quarter, Muslim Quarter and Armenian Quarter. See highlights such as the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Via Dolorosa, ancient synagogues, bazaars, and atmospheric narrow streets lined with galleries and private homes. Visit Jerusalem's most important museums, such as the Yad Vashem Holocaust History Museum and the Israel Museum. See the Mount of Olives and walk upon the old city ramparts. Also tour the Mahane Yehuda Market, which is a great place to sample local culinary specialties such as burekas (flaky filled pastries), chocolate rugelach and halvah while shopping for pantry staples such as tahini, za'atar, dried fruits and nuts. During leisure time, enjoy your hotel's extensive resort facilities and beautiful, park-like grounds.

If desired, we can arrange many special interest activities around Jerusalem, such as taking a private market tour and cooking class with a renowned food expert, touring the ancient City of David, touring the excavation tunnels under the Western Wall, joining an archaeological dig, walking through the city's ancient underground water tunnels, planting a tree, specialized shopping, or visiting the village of Ein Kerem to experience its local food, wine, art and religious sites. We can also arrange expert-led excursions to Bethlehem and Jericho.

Spend the next two nights in the Galilee region at a luxury spa resort. En route, tour the ruins of Beit Shean, an ancient city settled at least 5,000 years ago and later converted into a Hellenistic city. Enjoy private touring around the Sea of Galilee (also known as Lake Tiberias and Lake Kinneret), an area renowned for its beautiful landscapes and proximity to important historical and biblical sites. One day, browse art galleries in Rosh Pina, sample wines at local vineyards and visit a kibbutz. Another day, tour the mystical town of Safed (Tzfat), one of the four holy cities of the Talmud and the birthplace of Kabbalah, or the ancient port of Acre (Akko), a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with interesting ruins, as well as highly regarded hummus and seafood restaurants. Alternatively, enjoy active pursuits such as a four-wheel drive excursion in the Golan Heights, a fertile region of springs, waterfalls and Crusader ruins.

Cross the border into Jordan for two days at the most luxurious resort on the Dead Sea. VIP services will be arranged for your border crossing. En route, tour Jerash in Jordan, one of the best preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. During a day at leisure, enjoy the resort's lavish facilities, including a spa and a private beach where you can relax with a float in the salt- and mineral-laden water, famous for its buoyancy and therapeutic qualities. Advance reservations for spa treatments can also be arranged.

Next, transfer to Petra, one of the world's most impressive archaeological sites. If desired, enjoy a short hike in the beautiful Dana Biosphere Reserve en route. An area of great natural beauty and diverse ecosystems, Dana is home to an abundance of flora and fauna. Over 700 plant species have been recorded in the reserve, and wildlife ranges from eagles, falcons and owls to hyenas, foxes, wolves, porcupines, and ibex.

Continue to Petra for the next two nights. The Nabataeans created this ancient city between the 3rd century BC and the 1st century AD, sculpting monuments and tombs into the surrounding mountainside—the most spectacular of which is the pink-hued Treasury. Learn about the history, beliefs, architecture and daily life of the Nabataeans during private touring of this fascinating ancient wonder. Also enjoy a private four-wheel drive excursion into Jordan's southern desert to explore the spectacular natural environment of Wadi Rum. Perhaps most famously known as the setting of Lawrence of Arabia, this vast area is dotted with red sand dunes, canyons, natural springs, Bedouin tents, strangely shaped mountains and naturally formed rock bridges.

Continue to Amman, the modern capital of Jordan. If desired, enjoy private touring en route of Mt. Nebo—with its Memorial Church of Moses containing exquisite ancient mosaics, and boasting gorgeous panoramic views of the Jordan River, Dead Sea and beyond—and the famed Mosaic Map housed in a church in Madaba. Upon arrival, enjoy flexible introductory touring and see ancient Roman ruins, the impressive 8th-century Umayyad Palace complex, lively souks and shopping streets, or various contemporary art galleries. Also stop to taste local culinary specialties such as falafel, baba ghanoush, labneh (strained yogurt) and stuffed grape leaves.

Next, fly to Tel Aviv, a vibrant city on the Mediterranean Sea coast. During private touring, experience the best of Israel's largest city: the Neve Tzedek neighborhood, UNESCO-listed Bauhaus architecture, Old Jaffa, the Carmel Market, and museums such as the Eretz Israel Museum and the Museum of the Jewish Diaspora. If desired, we can also arrange a tour of the fascinating Ayalon Institute, a kibbutz that hid a secret underground ammunition factory. Additional options in Tel Aviv include specialized shopping, visiting the Design Museum Holon, strolling the port district or fashionable HaTachana, spending time on the beach, and enjoying the city's excellent restaurants.
