On this private England tour, experience the best of Cornwall’s beautiful coastal scenery and cultural sites, relax at a luxurious resort in the English countryside and enjoy customized private touring in London.
Begin in Hampshire with a stay at a luxurious manor resort. Enjoy the best of the refined English country lifestyle, including the historic architecture and beautiful scenery of the resort, as well as its excellent spa and dining facilities. Artisans of Leisure can arrange additional activities on the grounds and in the surrounding countryside such as fishing, horseback riding, golf, croquet, tennis, secluded picnics along the river and visits to local villages.
Next, travel to Cornwall, a peninsula in southeastern England with dramatic coastlines, magnificent gardens and mild subtropical weather. En route, pass through Bodmin Moor, a windswept moorland inhabited since the Neolithic period, to see unusual rock formations, stone circles and historic pubs.
Stay in the seaside town of St. Ives, and explore Cornwall's picturesque coastal villages, the beautiful beaches of the Tin Coast, and attractions such as the Tate St. Ives art museum, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden and the historic Leach Pottery studio and museum. Also visit iconic St. Michael’s Mount, a tidal island crowned by a medieval church, castle and terraced gardens.
Continue to St. Mawes, one of Cornwall's most charming villages. En route, visit the beautiful Lizard Peninsula to see dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches and unusual flora and fauna. Privately tour highlights around St. Mawes such as the Eden Project, a series of gardens under massive dome greenhouses; the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock, a Victorian country estate with a manor house and extensive gardens. Other touring options include seeing the collection of rare boats at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, touring a noted gin distillery, heritage homes and villages on the Cornwall’s north coast or seeing the ruins of Tintagel, a clifftop medieval castle associated with King Arthur and Arthurian legends.
Cornwall is an exceptional foodie destination, and we arrange for travelers to enjoy the best of the region's culinary touring, including gourmet seafood in celebrated restaurants and casual fish and chips on the beach. We can also arrange a Cornish cooking class to learn to make local specialties such as Cornish rarebit and Cornish pasties. Other activities we can arrange around Cornwall are privately guided hiking, fishing, kayaking, sailing and diving.
Next, visit Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed city. En route, perhaps explore Dartmoor National Park, stop for lunch at a historic country estate or atmospheric rural pub, or visit one of the world’s oldest continuously operating wool mills to see artisans making traditional textiles. During private touring in Bath, see the ancient Roman baths, the Royal Crescent and other Georgian architecture, antiques shops, and other highlights of this elegant and historic town.
Continue to London, one of the world's greatest cities. En route, visit Kelmscott Manor, the iconic Arts & Crafts house-museum and garden in the Cotswolds that was once the home of William Morris.
Discover the best of London—heritage architecture, fascinating museums, important historic attractions, exclusive boutiques, traditional pubs and incredible food markets—during private touring customized to your interests. Tour famous landmarks such as the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, the British Museum, Covent Garden, the London Eye, St. Paul's Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. Perhaps explore other incredible museums around the city such as the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum, Churchill War Rooms, Sir John Soane's Museum, the Tate Modern or the Tate Britain. Also visit hidden squares, unique British shops, atmospheric tea rooms and other highlights.
Upon request, Artisans of Leisure will also arrange reservations for dining and afternoon tea, book tickets to performances, and provide recommendations for the best shopping in London. Accommodation is at one of London's best luxury hotels.

The whole trip to England was incredible. Thank you for such great touring. We were so happy to have all the restaurant reservations made in advance—we never would have gotten tables without you! It was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken.
